Emotional Release, & Quantum Theta Energy Healing

Emotional Release, & Quantum Theta Energy Healing, a/k/a "Quantum Woo;

Quantum Thata Energy Healing a/k/a Quantum Woo is the description for a phenomenon where many irrational beliefs are justified by an obfuscatory reference to quantum physics. Usually this is a focus on some sort of "energy field", "probability wave", or "wave-particle duality" that magically turns thoughts into something tangible that can directly affect the universe. This concept is most notably pushed by James Hyman the so called “founder” of “Quantum Theta Energy Healing” (QTEH). Hyman often presents ill-defined concepts of quantum physics as proof for God and other magical thinking.

When an idea seems too crazy to believe, the proponent often makes an appeal to quantum physics as the explanation. This is a New Age version of God of the gaps.
The root of the issue is an attempt to piggy-back on the success and legitimacy of science by claiming quack ideas are rooted in accepted concepts in physics, combined with utter misunderstanding of these concepts and a sense of wonder at the amazing magic these misunderstandings would imply if true.
Proponents of quantum theta energy healing are affected by the interaction of neural-energy and their natural bozon field, which results in the creation of one moron and the decay of two neurons. The moron has a half-life of 35 years.

History

The New Age fascination with quantum mechanics seems to date to the mid to late 1970s and the books The Dancing Wu Li Masters by Gary Zukav and The Tao of Physics by Fritjzof Capra , both of which were received poorly by the physics community, but embraced by those who needed an all-purpose explanation for their woo; as a result, quantum woo is invoked by alties and woo-pushers as much as Nikola Tesla is by crackpot inventors. Popular culture movies such as The Secret and What the Bleep Do We Know? have also appealed to such concepts. Of course anyone who reads a newspaper or watches TV news knows exactly what is currently happening to the proponents of “The Secret.” The murder trial of James Arthur Ray, author of The Secret is currently ongoing. What unfortunate timing for those quack meisters currently pushing quantum theta energy healing!

Pseudoscience
Since most people have never studied quantum physics they do not understand why these sham ideas are a perversion of it - in fact, this relies on people thinking that quantum mechanics is "too hard" or "only for scientists" in order for the scams to work and stop people questioning them.
People do, however, recognize that quantum physics says that nanoscale reality is very different from what we know, and perhaps some pop science authors can take some blame for this. Concepts such as "non-locality" or "quantum probability waves" or "uncertainty principle" have become social memes of a kind where people inherently recognize that something "strange" is going on. Practitioners of fraudulent and silly ideas can tap into this feeling of mystery to push their sham concepts. Ie:

Real science
If you want to read a good book on quantum physics, scienceblogger Chad Orzel recently published a very accessible book called How To Teach Physics To Your Dog. Way better than anything Deepak Chopra or a Chopra wannabe like James Hyman might write.

Homeopathy & Hyman Healing

Let's start with homeopathy. Homeopathy works on the principle that minute doses of whatever causes a particular illness can be used to cure that illness. There's some merit to the thinking: minute doses of a poison, over time, will render the consumer immune to that particular poison.

However - the minute doses homeopaths are talking about here are so minute as to be close to incalculable without a degree in molecular chemistry. The treatments are often so diluted that you'd need a high-power microscope to find the active ingredient - and as any good drug taker will tell you, there's a world of difference between eating a pill and licking the plastic bag it came in. One will get you high. The other will make you look desperate.

Homeopathy relies on people turning up with a curable illness, taking a trace quantity of the "cure" for a proscribed period of time, and then getting better - no mention of the fact that the proscribed length of the treatment is usually about as long as it takes for the body to naturally sort itself out without the diseased person doing anything - which is pretty much what they're doing with homeopathy anyway.

But it's not homeopathy that caught my attention this morning as I walked past a unit of the rental apartment upstairs from me in Culver City. Which, by the way, stinks of incense - a substance burnt by alternative healing practitioners in their waiting rooms to disguise the unmistakable stench of false hope and dashed expectations.

No - it was a sign for a "new" kind of healing, called Quantum Theta Energy Healing (QTEH or Kew-Tee). Apparently, you or I could do a course and become a Quantum Theta Healing Practitioner in just three days - and go on to cure all sorts of diseases. Including, as some of their many free websites claim, fear, anxiety, depression anger and grief (good grief!).

So. Imagine, if you will, that are depressed. Who are you going to put your trust in? A bloke in a lab coat who has spent seven years at medical school and who is drawing on hundreds of years of medical knowledge, or some yahoo wearing socks and sandals who spent three days at a convention centre learning how to unblock negative energies and promote positive thoughts?

The "founder" of Quantum Theta Energy Healing is an individual by the name of James Hyman, whose main devotee is his wife, Barbara, who claims James can cure numerous diseases. This is a big statement to make - and I would assume that someone with the ability to cure multiple disease would, by now, be world-famous and boast a trophy room whose shelves are groaning under the weight of every scientific prize the world has to offer.

So I googled James Hyman Energy Healing. I got seven hits (all of which were written by his wife, Barbara on free web sites where anyone can avail themselves of anything, so they don't really count, like here; http://emotionalrelease.com/deep-emotional-release-bodywork/). Then, in the interests of good science, I chose a subject entirely at random, to check to see if Google might be broken. I googled myself. 285,000 hits in .18 seconds. Rudimentary maths (the kind I particularly like) tells me that I am therefore roughly 40,500 times more famous than a man who can cure numerous psychiatric and psychological diseases. Brilliant!

I did some more digging on Quantum Theta Energy Healing: apparently it involves putting the patient's brain into a quantum or theta-state, (wherever the hell that is). The practitioner then uses a highly dubious and often-debunked practice of applied kinesiology, where muscle response is tested to determine the patient's problem.

I tried this out on a few people. I poked and prodded some random strangers, and their muscle response (repeatedly lashing out and trying to hit me) suggests that they have anger issues. I suggested meditation, they suggested I do something that sounded quite fun, but is biologically impossible. (This by the way was the same suggestion Ms. Hyman made when she was made aware I was now debunking QTEH (Kew-Tee!)

Moving on: Once the Quantum Theta Energy healer has ascertained the medical issue, the big guns come out - According to the website; "Working with the chakras, the subconscious mind, the energy fields in and around the body, Jim gently and effectively guides you through the release of blocked emotional energy, old patterns and negative emotions, and breaks you through to new levels of your connection with Self and Source. The release of fears, anxiety, anger, and old residual negative emotions and patterns, opens the gateways for forgiveness, unconditional love, self-acceptance and a new connection to your core empowerment, and what you came here to do in this lifetime. After the session, you are better able to access these energetic frequencies and higher states of consciousness at will, and you see your life move forward in the direction that you set forth during your session!"

"A scientist in the field of transformational bodywork, self-healing energy work, and Chinese Qi Gong, James has seen several thousand private clients over the last 20 years. His work releases blocked energy in the body associated with past trauma and negative patterns from the past, releases the negative pattern from the subconscious mind and the Quantum grid, (there it is again, that pesky 'quantum grid, wherever that may be) and activates the cellular memory for perfect health, peace and a profound sense of well-being."

His intense study of metaphysics and shamanism, combined with his experience as a facilitator of ....yada..yada...yada...except wait, here comes the claim; qualify him as an expert in several different areas of wellness, and personal and spiritual evolution.

Qualified as an EXPERT! Qualified by whom? From what University did he receive his medical degree? Who has bestowed the title of 'expert' on Mr. Hyman? A closer look at the numerous free web sites make this extremely clear; Mr. Hyman has NO advanced degree from ANY university or accredited institution! None, Nada, Zero, Bupkis! ONLY Mrs. Hyman has 'qualified' Mr. Hyman as an expert! So glad we got that one cleared up!
(I'm not making these claims up... they are all on the websites. Go search for yourself if you don't believe me.)
It is utter codswallop (minute amounts of which are, reportedly, useful in treating Trimethylaminuria, aka Fish Odour Syndrome).
So what to do when we get sick?

Do we trust modern medicine, or do we travel the more natural route? The obvious choice is this: don't get sick in the first place. But if you do, there's something that you might want to remember. If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then it's probably a quack

In other words, it's horseshit (in small doses, reportedly useful in treating colic and gambling problems!.

For informational purposes only I will share with you where Mr. Hyman has...ughhh..."borrowed" or shall I be direct and say "stolen" his quack sham/scam (or "practice" if we are to believe Ms. Hyman) from;

Actual Origin

Although Hyman claims to be the founder, this practice is merely a new take on a series of much older scams. These are known by a variety of names.

1) Imperial Qi Gong. This is a method taught by Dr. Warner Chen, a proponent of Human Resources Chi Gong, Marrow Cleansing Chi Gong, and Quantum Leap Chi Gong therapy. Apparently, Imperial Qi Gong as well as “Quantum Theta or Deep Emotional Release Bodywork” is Mr. Hymans variation of Qigong therapy.

2) Vibrational Medicine a/k/a energetic medicine, energetics medicine, energy medicine, subtle-energy medicine, vibrational healing & vibrational therapies. The main "tenet" is that humans are "dynamic energy systems" Its premises include the following. (a) Health and illness originate in "subtle energy systems." (b) These systems coordinate the "life-force" and the "physical body." (c) Emotions, spirituality, and environmental factors affect the "subtle energy systems." Vibrational medicine embraces "chakra rebalancing, absent healing, (the aforementioned $150.00 telephone sessions) etheric touch, the laying on of hands, Past-life Regression, and Therapeutic Touch.

The expressions "energy healing," "energy work," and "energetic healing work" appear synonymous with "vibrational medicine."

During some “intense quantum theta energy healing sessions” the practitioner (Mr. Hyman) can be heard “chanting” some heretofore unknown “mantras.” Apparently to ward off the “quantum theta“ negative energy mojo that he has removed from the “patients” body. The need for chanting is apparently a method of stopping said mojo from entering Mr. Hymans “quantum theta” energy fields.

This brings us to our age old scams numbers 3 and 4;

3) WooJangJu Power Meditation or WooJangJu Power Chant. This is a variation of TaeUIJu Healing Meditation. Its purported design is to protect meditators, while they are healing, from vengeful spirits.

4) Wu Ming Qigong (Wu Ming Qigong system, Taoist Wu Ming Qigong): Millennia-old "self-healing practice" taught by the American Taoist Healing Center, Inc., in New York City. It allegedly helps users connect body, mind, and spirit. Its theory posits a transfer, from teacher to student, of "energy" that heals and guides the student. Proponents use the Chinese expression "wu ming," which literally means "no name," to refer to the "original natural force" from which everything's "essence" flows.

Other Quack Shams Hyman Has “Borrowed” From;

5) Lesser Kan & Li (Sexual Alchemy): Form of meditation whose theory posits chi, "core energy channels," and "higher energy bodies,"

6) Life force balancing: Combination of the laying on of hands, psychic healing, psychological "adjustments," and spiritual counseling, developed by Barbara West. It involves a "healing science" called "intercellular regeneration."

7)Life Care Kinesiology (Life Care): Offshoot of applied kinesiology put together by Dr. Richard Beale. It borrows from acupuncture and Touch for Health and includes "chakra meditation."

8) Life Impressions Bodywork: "Healing process" developed by Donald Van Howten (Ravi Dos). It includes "cranial membrane treatment" (probably Cranio-Sacral work) and "pulse work" and borrows from Ayurveda and Hakomi. Its premises include the following. (a) Humans are spirits. (b) Bodily tissues accumulate "history." (c) This "imprint" of experiences becomes
"outdated." Updating "idea imprinted" tissues (the method's purported intention) releases "bound beliefs" and "energy."

9) Light Touch Energy Healing: Method that purportedly focuses on: balancing bodily "energy," releasing "cellular memory," and identifying "energy patterns" that limit happiness.

10) LooyenWork®: Approach to "body therapy" that involves "body reading" and "movement re-education" and allegedly can increase the "flow" of clients' "energy." "Body reading" purportedly is a sophisticated form of observation that enables practitioners to reach the root of the client's problem.

James Hyman, Energy Healing: Undercover Investigation Of Quantum Theta Energy Healing And Deep Emotional Release Bodywork (The Scams Of James & Barbara Hyman).

Undercover Investigation Of Quantum Theta Energy Healing And
Deep Emotional Release Bodywork
The Scams of James & Barbara Hyman

An undercover journalistic operation conducted by WikiLeax has unveiled the following information regarding pseudoscience & some of its practitioners who are exposed in the following report;

The partners in crime practitioners of the so called "deep emotional release bodywork & integrated quantum theta energy healing" (Acronym QTEH pronounced Kew-Tee)  (http://www.emotionalrelease.com/have co-opted some of the language of physics, including the language of quantum mechanics, in their quest to make metaphysical quackery sound like respectable science.

Our own undercover investigative journalist recently put the practitioners of “deep emotional release body work & quantum theta energy healing” to the test. Our journalist enlisted the help of the chief architect of this pseudoscientific scam. He is a known huckster  & a combination of Deepak Chopra/ Vanilla Ice wannabe introduced to us by his "practice manager" & wife Barbara Hyman
as "integrated quantum theta energy healer" James Hyman.

JAMES HYMAN'S QUANTUM THETA ENERGY HEALING & DEEP EMOTIONAL RELEASE BODYWORK

Unbeknownst to him, Mr. Hyman was asked to first conduct one of his "quantum theta energy healing" phone sessions in order to facilitate the "deep emotional healing" of what was purported to be a man who was troubled over the recent death of his wife. Mr. Hyman conducted 2 "telephone sessions" with the subject between his home in California and the mans home in Florida.

The amazing thing about this is that the healer need not even touch the patient. In fact, the healer need not even be in the presence of the patient. "Integrated Quantum Theta Energy Healing" is so powerful, the practitioner; James Hyman need not even be in the presence of the "subject" or "patient" he is treating. After the two telephone sessions, Mr. Hyman came to the conclusion that the subject was indeed markedly and painfully rooted with "deep emotionally contained quantum theta negative energy" which was affecting both his physical and mental well being. After collecting his fee for his diagnosis and telephone sessions and accepting a $1,220.00 deposit as a guarantee of his in person fee, & armed with the mans credit card information for the purposes of charging should the subject not be willing to pay, Mr. Hyman compassionately offered to travel to FL for a series of in person "quantum theta energy healing" sessions with the man over a four day period for a minimum guaranteed fee of an additional $3,500.00

WIKILEAX.NET TURNS THE TABLES

In actuality the subject, armed with financing from WiKiLeax.net was in reality a healthy 53-year-old pescetarian male.  He recently had a full yearly physical conducted by a board certified MD in Internal Medicine. He was MD verified to be drug free, 5'9" tall and weighing 135 pounds. With a thrice-weekly MD verified pulse rate of between 66-72, as well as a blood pressure of between 110/66 and 120/70. Additionally, his blood sugar was measured two hours after eating on three different occasions as averaging 5.5mmol/L. In other words an extremely healthy 53-year-old male with the heart rate, blood pressure and blood sugar levels of someone at a minimum 10-15 years his junior.  This probably due to his healthy lifestyle choices of a pescetarian diet as well as regular exercise both speed walking and/or running 5K (about 3.1 miles) daily.

MORE OF JAMES HYMAN'S QUANTUM THETA ENERGY HEALING

Upon Mr. Hymans visit with the subject, he consistently postulated that the subject indeed had his "quantum theta energy fields" deeply blocked, which were causing the man the purported (yet false) symptoms of physical & emotional pain. During his in person "sessions" with the impostor on his "massage" table, Mr. Hyman seemed to be so troubled by the gentleman's negative "quantum theta energy fields" that Mr. Hyman could audibly be heard to be "chanting" under his breath some heretofore unrecognized presumably Indian Yogi  "mantra!" This our subject could only conclude was Mr. Hyman's attempts to ward off his "deep emotional negative quantum theta energy!" Thankfully, our writer was healthy & Mr. Hyman appeared to leave our subject unscathed, except for his wallet, which was considerably lighter. However, Mr. Hyman’ s  wallet was considerably heavier! ($5,000.00+ so!).

BARBARA HYMANS ENERGY HEALING & PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

To help to completely promote the "quantum theta energy healing" experience, Ms. Hyman the "energy healing practice manager" insisted that our subject pay for all the "healers" plane tickets. This included both Mr. & Ms. Hyman & their 10-year-old daughter. It was explained to our writer that Ms. Hyman was an energy healer in her own right & their 10 year old daughter was the heir apparent to her father's mystical "quantum theta energy healing" throne, with subliminal powers far beyond those of other mere mortals (able to leap tall buildings in a single bound?). Apparently she had inherited these from her parents.

Ms. Hyman consistently practiced "energy healing" over a bandaged area that our writer had presumably experienced multiple fractures thereof in his right wrist. In actuality, he had nothing more than a markedly red area on his skin, which was caused by wearing the bandage for two full weeks prior to the Hyman's visit. However, this did not stop Ms. Hyman from her task as the "energy healer" or Aura healer or Chakra healer. She was firmly convinced of the severe pain (a falsehood) which the patient was feeling & which Ms. Hyman routinely & steadily continued to "energy heal" by running her hands over the purportedly affected area.

Ms. Hyman herself claims to be not only a "practice manager" of "deep emotional release bodywork" but also a practitioner of "therapeutic touch energy healing." Mr. & Ms. Hyman both claim to be practitioners of various kinds of "therapeutic touch energy healing" which at times they call "deep emotional release energy healing” or "quantum theta energy healing" or simply "therapeutic touch energy healing."  (hereafter referred to as TT)

MORE HYMAN HYPE! (ADDITIONAL WEB SITES HYPING HYMANS!)

How is it possible to get relief from swelling, pain, nausea, headaches, anxiety, and an assortment of other ailments without the use of medicine or surgery? It is not! However, the practice of accepting money while offering false hope happens all the time and has been going on for centuries. It’s called by many names but these days it’s mostly called “energy healing.” Whatever name it goes by, ultimately it amounts to faith healing  This article is an expose of so called "quantum theta energy healers" (James and Barbara Hyman) who apparently rely on one healing themselves by simply "willing" it or "creating their own  health!"
http://www.createyourhealth.com/quantumhealing Additionally they are also sometimes known as Aura healers and  Chakra healers.

Aura healers Chakra healers, Qigong healers & reiki healers have been practicing their craft under different names for centuries. In Japan the practice of energy healing is known as reiki. They just wave their hands over the patient and “feel” the energy moving.  The patient feels it, too. Great stuff but what’s really going on? According to our writer, NOTHING! Nothing except for the night Ms. Hyman proceeded to embarrass herself as well as her young daughter who appeared disconcerted by her mother's apparent state of drunkenness after experiencing Ms. Hyman spilling an expensive bottle of wine provided by their host all over his brand new $350.00 designer shirt. To bad Ms. Hyman could not wave her energy healing hands over the shirt and remove the red wine stains. However, the mans housekeeper was able to with numerous washings & bleaching with Clorox & All.

HISTORY OF THERAPUTIC TOUCH ENERGY HEALING

Therapeutic touch (TT) is a type of energy medicine or energy healing whereby the therapist moves his or her hands over the patient’s “energy field,” allegedly directing the flow of chi or prana so the patient can heal. TT is based on the belief that each living thing has a “life energy field” which extends beyond the surface of the body and generates an aura. This energy field can become unbalanced, misaligned, obstructed, or out of tune. Energy healers think they can feel and manipulate this energy field by making movements that resemble massaging the air a few inches above the surface of the patient’s body. Energy healers also think that they can transfer some of their own life energy to the patient. These airy manipulations allegedly restore the energy field to a state of balance or harmony, to a proper alignment, or they unblock a clog in the field or transfer life energy from healer to patient. This restoration of integrity to the field is thought to make it possible for the body to heal itself.

THE HYMAN DEFENSE

Upon returning to Los Angeles the Hyman's were confronted by the staff at WiKiLeax.net on numerous occasions. With all three of the “healers” now safely back home, 3000+ miles away from their latest victim, the Hyman’s now felt comfortable enough to practice their very own deep emotional release. Unfortunately, this came from the Hyman’s themselves and not their “patient.”

Ms. Hyman fired off a confidential e-mail now in the hands of the editors of  WiKiLeax.net and web sites. Responding to our initial discovery attempts. It stated the following;
"Why don't you go back & crawl under your rock!" A second confidential e-mail also in our hands did not contain such refined and studied language. It simply yet eloquently stated "Go F##K Yourself!"

These New Age hucksters preach that they can tap into your "quantum theta energy field," and can utilize "Integrated Quantum Theta-Healing" which they claim works on unknown and unseen energy fields in the human body in order to make one healthy, happy, fulfilled, successful, and so life can be meaningful and significant. This is at a cost of upwards of $250.00 for a 1 hour in person session or $150.00 for a
"telephone session." After taking 2 of these so called "telephone sessions" and two more in person "sessions," it appears that all they are tapping into is our collective wallets to the tune of over $5,000.00!

THE CREAM ON TOP OF THE SCAM: THE CHILD HUSTLER!
(Or didn't we see this one with Ryan & Tatum O'Neal called
"PAPER MOON!")

We assume you are wondering what purpose the child had in helping to further expedite the scam? Fret no more, here it is. The 10 year old "home schooled" daughter was proclaimed to be a gourmet chef. Yes, the Hyman's are even developing a television show to promote the daughters talents as "the little chef" or the practitioner of  "Chakracuisine!" During the entire four-day visit it was necessary to allow the daughter to continually dine at 5 star, expensive restaurants, which presumably would help her to end the visit on a high "quantum theta energy healing" note by utilizing her knowledge of  "Chakracuisine!" Indeed, during their stay, the Hyman's went on a shopping spree of both Bed Bath & Beyond for cooking utensils and linens and bath accessories acceptable for them to sleep, bath & eat. Also on the final night of their stay the Hyman's insisted that the "little chef" be allowed to make a visit to the finest gourmet seafood market in the area. Of course, the patient had to foot the bill for all of this as well. Thereafter, the 10 year old daughter prepared an unremarkable meal of barely chewable Opa fish, of which she constantly showed off her 10 year old mentality by consistently yelling out the word ""Opa" as to mimic the popular 2002 movie "My Great Big Fat Greek Wedding" starring Nia Vardalos & Michael Constantine. In this rather unremarkable film, Vardalos's introduces the viewer to her parents, somewhat obnoxious Greek immigrants who constantly embarrass their young daughter in front of her new fiance by yelling the term "Opa" as did the Hyman's precocious youngster. According to our writer, frankly it was an embarrassment for everyone.

As for the Hyman's daughter, during their stay she visited with her aunt, Ms. Hyman's sister who is married to a local Dr. The more conventional physicians wife was clearly concerned for her niece's welfare. Living on the road in a house where she sleeps in the same bed as her parents, as well as at home in a 2BR/2BA rental apartment, the aunt was undeniably concerned for the child's well being. It is understandable, as the child has no formal schooling, has the freedom of making her own hours and checking in via her I-Phone/Cell Phone, which was obviously worrisome for the Aunt. It was a source of constant verbal sparring between the parents the daughter & unfortunately it affected our writer as well. Apparently after having to experience an evening of "quantum theta deep emotional release energy healing" & chanting with Mr. Hyman he was looking forward to a simple home style cooked local Italian meal. After having to wait, apparently so Mr. Hyman could continue to justify or pad his fee, they were turned around after a half hour Saturday night drive to a crowded restaurant where our writer is a regular diner. Thoroughly starved as well as again embarrassed, our writer had finally guided the Hyman's to within 500 feet of their restaurant designation & another "meal on the house" when the aunt had apparently had enough of her niece's acting out and called the Hyman's forcing our writer cum tour guide to change direction. The change of course took them on a drive over 40 miles to immediately pick up the presumptuously aggressive youngster. Thereafter, with little time left for food, they were "forced" to eat out at a restaurant in Coconut Grove, again with a 5 star rating. Again "on the house at a cost well over $300.00!" As for the "little "Chakracuisine chef, here is our writer’s take on the Hyman's
sensationalizing of their daughter's supposed talents;

"Chakracuisine" -  If we can't commercialize it, it doesn't exist!

MORE "INTEGRATED QUANTUM THETA ENERGY HEALING" & PRACTITIONER TRAINING!
(THE HYMANS KEEP HYPING!)

The amazing thing about it is that the healer need not even touch the patient. In fact, the healer need not even be in the presence of the patient. "Integrated Quantum Theta Energy Healing" is so powerful, the practitioner; James Hyman need not even be in the presence of the "subject" or "patient" he is treating. Powerful medicine, no? Yes, very powerful and not completely understood, though there are many theories being offered, the most common ones these days being couched in terms of chi or prana, meridians, auras, and chakras. Is there any evidence that there is a metaphysical life force (call it “energy” or “chior whatever you want) that determines health depending on whether it is blocked or flowing? If there is, I’d like to see it. Particularly after being "hustled" by Mr. & Ms. Hyman for over $10,000.00

These New Age hacks additionally purport to train others in the mystical & magical powers of locating this "quantum theta energy field" in order to promise you the power to heal the sick and create your own reality as if you were a god.

Below is an online advertisement available NOW for a limited time only at a cost of merely $550.00 for an 8 hour empowerment training seminar being offered by Mr. Hyman. During the empowerment practitioner training session (once you pay your $550.00 up front) Mr. Hyman will teach you how to locate these "quantum theta energy fields" & thereafter help subjects to "deeply emotionally release" energy from said "fields" and magically be "healed!" If you are to become a completely trained practitioner than Mr. Hyman contends you will need to continue to subject yourself (and your wallet) to further in person training at a yet unquoted price. This scam is more of the ages old method utilized by many alt med quack practitioner’s; known as multi-level marketing! Once they are confident they have taken all of the money that can be acquired from you, they then move on. However, not before they empower you with one last hustle designed to fill their coffer’s with any money that may be remaining in the hustle. The cardinal rule of the hustler, sham or scam artist is “never leave any money on the table!” If you are convinced you have been ‘cured,’ then the final scam is to charge you by claiming to empower you to charge someone else! Remember; Multi-Level Marketing!

Pseudoscience is a set of ideas based on theories put forth as scientific when they are not scientific I.e. deep emotional release energy work or integrated quantum theta healing of energy fields in the body. This term (quantum theta energy) is directly stolen from theoretical & mathematical physicists such as Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger. Schrödinger is best known for the Schrödinger equation of quantum mechanics, formulated in 1926. Dr.Schrödinger's work has been postulated by theorems reported in over 30 expository works by Professor Yuri I Manin a theoretical physicist at Northwestern University.
